AVS history
AVS is a private corporation, formed in June 1999. AVS specializes in vehicles, trailer systems, CLS, communications and weapons integration. Its directors and managers have considerable experience providing manufactured goods and services to the commercial market as well as the Department of Defense.  AVS has teamed with Daimler Chrysler to support the USMC IFAV program. This program has provided 121 Fast Attack Vehicles to the USMC, operator and maintenance training to each of the Marine Expeditionary Forces (MEF), and a newly designed lightweight pedestal to accommodate the .50 Cal, MK 19, 240G and TOW. AVS is comprised of professionals who have extensive backgrounds in both commercial and military programs.

Bradford Chalk
The AVS finance and accounting staff has been augmented to include Brad Chalk, the former CFO of Beta International Corporation. Mr. Chalk has 25 years of extensive experience in all financial and administrative aspects of running a Government contracting organization. In particular, Mr. Chalk has experience with cradle-to-grave contract administration, FAR and CAS-compliant accounting systems and reporting, interfacing with DCAA in their performance of pre-award, post-award, and incurred costs audits, and coordinating with lending institutions in order to satisfy the financial demands of a rapidly growing company.
